In random order, the listed competitors are Quizlet, Turbo, Gizmo, and Studyfetch.

Scores collected by having each platform generate questions on the same 3 documents, anonymizing which platform the question came from, and then scoring the questions through a question quality LLM judge. As you can see, the hardest part is making the wrong answer choices good enough to be believable.

the chart above is a blind test. the same three documents went into jungle, quizlet and three other ai study tools, and the questions were scored without knowing which tool wrote them. here is how the rest compares.

why students look for a quizlet alternative

quizlet used to let everyone use learn and test for free. those modes are now limited unless you pay for quizlet plus, and free accounts see ads. if those modes were the reason you used quizlet, the free version does less than it used to.

what jungle does that flashcards alone can't

it starts from your material. jungle reads your lecture slides, pdfs, notes and videos, or records the lecture for you, and writes the questions. no more typing cards the night before the exam. see the ai flashcard maker.

the questions look like your exam. pick a style like usmle step 1 or the mcat and get questions written the way that exam asks them, with wrong answers that sound right. you can build a full practice exam from one upload.

you get an explanation, not just a score. after each answer jungle tells you why it was right or wrong, and you can ask follow-up questions about your document.

a question answered in jungle, with the right and wrong choices marked and an explain my mistake button

diagrams turn into questions. jungle hides the labels on the diagrams in your slides and asks you to name them, so image occlusion cards make themselves.

it keeps you coming back. a daily review brings back the cards you are about to forget, and you grow trees and keep your streak alive as you answer.

jungle's home screen with upcoming exams, today's spaced repetition review and a 12 day streak

it comes with a guarantee. yearly plans bought through jungle's own checkout or google play include a 3-day money-back guarantee and a beat your score guarantee. read the terms.

answer them, read the explanations, and come back each day for your review.
